    Could you trim out the background [the fabric below] from the back leaving just a seam allowance around where you did the applique?

    I suppose I could do that...never thought of it! I'm also kicking around an idea of putting lace trim on it. Until then I am cross stitching.

    We got an inch of rain last night and it's cooler so I moved my new potted mum to full sun.
