Al/BillNye -- I recently upgraded from an HP Touchpad/webOS to a Samsung Note/Android. The Touchpad allowed me to take a web page (as in the Daily Deal) and put a direct link right on my screen. I can't seem to do the same thing on the Android.

"No problem," I thought, "I'll just get the M*SQ app!" Which brings me to my question for you! Looks like the M*SQ app is ALWAYS in portrait mode. It's just impossible for me to enjoy the forum in portrait mode. Is there any way to use landscape mode with the M*QC app?

Thanks, Science guy!

I was happily starting to put together my quilt when after only 2 seams my machine decided it didn't want to sew any more. !!
The foot pedal is making noises but not managing to make the needle move, its really upset me as I have only had the machine since Christmas. I checked that there wasn't anything that I could see blocking the feed dogs or stuck in the bobbin area but didn't find anything so I am now waiting for a man to collect it in the morning to hopefully repair it for me.
Its really frustrating when all the material is ready to be put together and now I have no excuses why I cannot do housework LOL

May seem like a "dumb" question, but here goes: I have only quilted by "stitching in the ditch" - works o.k., however, how often do you stop and clip the thread? For example, when I'm quilting a log cabin design, I sew in one direction, maybe across 3 or 4 "logs" and then stop and clip the thread. I always backstitch too.

Is there a better method? Thanks for the help.

I uploaded my facebook picture to my profile but I don't think it shows when I reply to a thread. I replied to the dresden thread in case you want to check to see if you see the pic. I do like knowing who I'm talking to :) - so i figure other people do to. Thanks for your help. PS: I love these forums and I've been shadowing for a while now.

I'm trying to post my quilt photos and am unable to successfully post them all. I've never had a problem posting before. Can anyone tell me how to reduce the file size?
