    Default Love Notes Star Tutortial

I just watched the Love Notes Tutorial that was release today 9.18.15. If I missed it, I apologize in advance. I didn't hear it mentioned as to how wide the sashing strips are or the size to cut the cornerstones. Thanks

I believe they are 2-1/2" strips and squares, as she usually does for most of her sashing.

I was just watching it again to see what they were. I don't think the measurement was given, but they looked to be 2.5" from the measurements on the cutting mat.

I also just watched the tutorial again, and I agree with Karen, it's a 2 1/2 " ( inch ) strip...( or you could use a Jelly Roll .....those are 2 1/2" strips in a Jelly Roll ...I think there's 40 2 1/2" strips in a Jelly Roll ( for the most part....maybe some have a few more or less )

Agree the sashing looks like the usual 2 1/2" strips cut to the size of the blocks. You could always make test blocks using scrap fabrics and place the sashing and cornerstones against the blocks to be sure you like the proportions.

What size are the blocks? What is the best way to square up the half square triangles? To what size?
Sorry, for all the questions. I get so excited when I see Jenny's tutorials!! Love her!
